This is a personal project based on an original character I created years ago. As a child from the 90s, I felt privileged to have grown up watching several children's horror shows such as 'Courage the Cowardly Dog', 'Tales from the Cryptkeeper', etc., as well as what I felt was the golden age of Cartoon Network. I thought of combining the two to make a horror/comedy animated show for general audiences.
This is commissioned work for a pitch pilot of a children's superhero web series. The creator's character concepts and design evoke a style reminiscent of 'The PowerPuff Girls' from Cartoon Network. This series deals with relatable childhood situations as well as environmental awareness.
This is another personal project that touches on the subject of mental illness. My goal was to connect to a general audience through emotional expressions and gestures supported by sincere dialogue.
